Placements & Pro Shop Standards

For golf polos, left chest club crest is the standard - sized smaller than a general corporate polo to fit the premium golf aesthetic. For hats, front-panel crest is standard. For golf towels, embroidery on the corner panel above the carabiner clip.

For member blazers, chenille club crest on the left chest pocket is the traditional layout, with optional embroidered ceremonial year or office held underneath. We follow whatever the club's clubhouse committee has established.

Premium Fabric Considerations

Premium golf fabrics - performance pique, microfiber, blended poly-spandex - require specific embroidery handling. Standard stitch density used on cotton polos will pull and pucker the lightweight material. We use water-soluble topping on knit golf fabrics, tear-away backings sized for the fabric weight, and a reduced stitch count where possible to keep the crest flat and clean.

Color longevity also matters on country club apparel. We use polyester thread (Madeira Polyneon or Isacord) as default for golf wear because polyester resists UV fade better than rayon - important for apparel that will be worn outdoors for full rounds.
