About EmbroideryLI - Long Island's Embroidery Specialists

Long Island's embroidery specialists - based in Huntington, serving every town from Montauk to Manhasset.

Our Story

EmbroideryLI was founded in 2024 by Anthony Mann and Kristen Cowley as the dedicated embroidery production house inside the Mann decoration network on Long Island. The brand is young; the bench isn't. Anthony and Kristen run multiple sister shops between them, with years of combined experience in custom apparel, DTF transfers, UV printing, laser engraving, and embroidery digitizing for businesses across Nassau and Suffolk County.

The shop runs multi-head Tajima machines, dedicated cap frames, and an in-house digitizing station that turns customer artwork into production-ready stitch files. We stitch onto polos, jackets, hats, aprons, hi-vis vests, beanies, performance wear, scrubs, and every other garment Long Island businesses put on their teams.

We're based in Huntington. We answer the phone. The principle stays the same: a logo stitched onto a polo should look as sharp as the brand it represents, on the first piece and the thousandth.

What We Do

EmbroideryLI is a specialist - not a generalist print shop that also owns an embroidery machine. We focus on three things and we do them relentlessly well: machine embroidery on garments and accessories, custom-embroidered patches, and logo digitizing.

Embroidery is fundamentally different from screen printing or heat transfer. It's slower, it's tactile, and it lasts the lifetime of the garment. We use real machine embroidery on every job - no heat-applied appliqué pretending to be stitched. When you put your brand on a uniform, it should still look like your brand after the fiftieth wash.

The Mann Network

EmbroideryLI is part of a three-shop decoration ecosystem on Long Island built around different production technologies for different jobs.

  • EmbroideryLI - machine embroidery and patches when you want texture, durability, and a premium feel.
  • Long Island DTF Printing - direct-to-film transfers for full-color graphics, photographic detail, and short runs where embroidery isn't the right fit.
  • On The Island Apparel - the apparel brand and blank garment supply arm. When you need shirts to decorate, this is where they come from.

One ownership, three specialties, one Huntington address. We can mix decoration methods on a single order without juggling vendors.

Our Equipment

We run multi-head Tajima embroidery machines - the same workhorses that have stitched logos for the world's biggest brands for the past forty years. Tajima isn't the cheapest equipment on the market and that's the point. Stable tension, accurate trims, consistent stitch quality across every head, run after run.

  • Multi-head Tajima embroidery machines for production volume
  • Dedicated 270-degree cap frames for clean hat embroidery
  • Tubular hooping stations for sleeves, pockets, and small placements
  • In-house digitizing station running professional stitch-file software
  • Calibrated lighting and a thread library covering 400+ colors

Our Process

  1. 1. Brief. You send us artwork and tell us what you want it on, where, and how many. We confirm scope and timing in writing.
  2. 2. Digitize. Our team converts your artwork into a production stitch file - the part that determines whether the finished embroidery looks crisp or muddy.
  3. 3. Stitch. Garments are hooped, machines are loaded, threads are matched. We sew a test before committing to the run.
  4. 4. Ship. Every piece is inspected, folded, packaged, and shipped or ready for local pickup at our Huntington shop.

Long Island Roots

Our shop sits at 205 E Main St, Ste 2-1 in Huntington Village - in walking distance of the LIRR station, around the corner from the dozens of restaurants, salons, and small businesses we've stitched logos for over the years. We serve Nassau and Suffolk County businesses, schools, municipalities, sports clubs, fire departments, marinas, and country clubs from one end of the Island to the other.

We're not a national portal pretending to be local. When you call (631) 458-3842 you get the shop, not a call center. When you want to walk in with a box of polos, the door's open during business hours.

Why Choose EmbroideryLI

  • Live Embroidery Preview. Upload your art and see a realistic stitch preview before you place an order - no other Long Island shop offers this.
  • No Minimums. Order one polo or order three hundred at the same per-piece price. No surcharges, no "small order" tax.
  • Everything In-House. Digitizing, stitching, finishing - all of it happens in our Huntington shop. Nothing is outsourced to a third party.
  • Free Digitizing on $150+ Orders. The one-time $125 digitizing fee is waived on any order over $150. Most first orders qualify.
  • Sister-Brand Network. Need DTF prints, blanks, or a mixed-method job? The whole Mann Network is one phone call instead of three.
