Why Sports Programs Need Embroidered Gear

A coach polo is worn every game, every practice, every team meeting. That is 80 to 120 wears in a season. Placements & Roster Layouts

For coach polos, left chest team logo is the standard, often with the coach's last name embroidered above or below in 1/4-inch lettering. For team hats, front-panel logo is the only acceptable placement - we adjust stitch density for trucker mesh vs. structured cap fronts.

For warm-ups and quarter-zips, left chest plus a back yoke option works for travel teams that want a stronger visual on the sideline. For travel bags, large end-panel embroidery is the highest-impact option - the team mark reads from twenty feet away when the bag is on the field.

Sports Embroidery FAQ

Do you embroider game jerseys or only practice gear?

We embroider jerseys when the design makes sense for embroidery - coach jerseys, throwbacks, and ceremonial gear. For high-stitch-count team numbers and player names on game jerseys, twill applique or dye-sublimation is often a better fit, and we will tell you up front when that is the case.

Can you do chenille varsity letters for our travel team?

Yes. Chenille letters are the right call for letterman-style jackets. We produce them in your team colors with felt backing for sewing onto wool jackets, fleeces, or quarter-zips.

How do you handle name and number runs for a roster?

Send us your roster as a spreadsheet with first names, last names, and numbers. We embroider each piece to the right player and ship sorted by name or by team. No extra setup beyond the original logo digitizing.

Do you embroider for Long Island youth leagues like Little League or PAL lacrosse?
