Placements Across Departments
For town hall and admin polos, left chest town seal is standard, often with department name embroidered underneath in a smaller font. For parks, sanitation, and public works, left chest plus department name is the standard - higher-visibility back panels with town name and department are common for outdoor crews.
For hi-viz vests, embroidery sits within the non-fluorescent panels so the ANSI rating is preserved. For ceremonial use, full-color embroidered town seal on left chest is standard.
RFP, Bid, and PO Processes
We are familiar with the New York State municipal procurement process and respond on whatever form the town requires. Sealed bids, RFPs, RFQs, term contracts, piggyback contracts off other municipal agreements - we have submitted on all of them. We carry the standard general liability and workers comp insurance documentation requested by most Long Island towns.
For multi-department contracts, we organize production and billing by department so the parks PO is billed separately from the sanitation PO even when the orders run on the same production day.

Do you respond to municipal RFPs and competitive bids?
Yes. Municipal RFPs, sealed bids, and term contracts are routine for us. Send the bid sheet, the required vendor packet, and the submission deadline. We respond on your form and provide all required insurance certificates and W-9 documentation.
Can you handle department POs from multiple town departments under one master agreement?
Yes. A single master contract can cover parks, sanitation, public works, town hall admin, animal control, building department, and recreation. Each department issues its own PO and we deliver and bill accordingly.
Do you embroider hi-viz Class 2 and Class 3 vests for public works crews?
Yes. ANSI 107 hi-viz vests for public works, sanitation, and roads departments are common municipal orders. We embroider without crossing background area minimums required to maintain the rating.
Can you produce town seal patches for ceremonial use?
Yes. Town seal patches for ceremonial polos, supervisor jackets, and parade gear are produced in full color with merrowed edges from the official town seal artwork.
What about replacement and turnover orders mid-contract?
Replacement orders for new hires or worn-out uniforms are run against the same digitized file on file from the original contract. No setup fee, no minimums, and we bill against the existing PO or open a new small one as required.
